W5 has sapphire crystal, W4 is hardened glass. W5 is supposed to have a sturdier glass, more scratch resistant but the downside is thta there is no anti-glare treatment on the W5. So the screen looks better on the W4. W5 has a protruding sensor on the back which is supposed to five slightly better readings.
You get ECG function, DND syncs between phone and watch, alarms sync between phone and watch and that's about it. Although these are nice features I ditched my GW5 Pro to Garmin Epix cause it's just better for what I need, better battery and lot of features for mapping and sports and battery life miles better. 1.
GW4 is the only watch that can take blood pressure in the market today. I actually did an experiment. I shaved my wrist, i placed the watch. I found out that watch is quite accurate on non-hair dry wrist. Believe or not, i used many different watch brands. GW4's HR tracking is not that bad really.

A solid 2 days, 2.5 to almost 3 if I use a plain watch face and don't tinker with it a lot (I change watch faces frequently).
